
Producer: Tor Larsen
Tor began work as art director and joined an animation production company in 1995. He went on produce a number of animated TVCs before moving into drama. The short films he produced have screened at festivals around the world including: Montreal, Palm Springs, Mill Valley, Fantosporto (Portugal), Upsala (Sweden), Chicago Childrens Film Festival and at the American Cinematheque in Los Angeles among others.
In 1998 Tor co-produced the award winning short: 117 nominated for Best Cinematography at the AFI awards in 1999 and going on to win the Australian Cinematographers Society, Golden Tripod award in 2001.
Tor has been involved with the development and production of a number of feature length projects . In 2002-3 he produced the independent feature film Love in the First Degree which was also screened at numerous international festivals, winning a Gold Remi at it’s premiere at the Houston International Film Festival (WorldFest), in 2004.
More recently Tor has freelanced as a TVC producer for a number of directors and production companies. He is currently focused on development in Video, Film, Documentary and the Web as well as project management in related creative fields.
