Producer: Tor Larsen
Working as an art director at an animation production company in 1995, Tor went on produce a number of animated TVCs before moving into short film production. Some of these films received government funding and screened at festivals including: Montreal, Palm Springs, Mill Valley, Fantosporto (Portugal), Upsala (Sweden), Chicago Childrens Film Festival and at the American Cinematheque in Los Angeles among others.
In 1998 Tor co-produced the award winning short: ‘117'nominated for Best Cinematography at the AFI awards in 1999 and going on to win the Australian Cinematographers Society, Golden Tripod award in 2001.
More recently Tor has been involved with the development and production of a number of feature length projects . In 2002-3 he produced the independent feature film Love in the First Degree which was invited to festivals around the world, winning a Gold Remi at it’s international premiere at WorldFest, the Houston International Film Festival, in 2004.
Hammerthrow Films is based in Sydney and has a number of projects in development. Tor also produces for the director Anton Beebe at BRILLIANT FILMS a Sydney TV commercial production company
